Description
A male Mute Swan returning to the family. I captured this shot from the shore along the Bayshore Trail in Belleville. Just prior to this shot my attention had been on the group of 7 cygnets and the mom when I spotted the male's takeoff in the distance. The low camera angle creates the illusion that he is much closer to the rest of the family than he actually is.
